Classical Theater
Julius Caesar
Time: June 13 - July 20, 2025
I portrayed Portia in Julius Caesar, directed by Marcus Kyd for Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, staged outdoors at the stunning Patapsco Female Institute Ruins in Ellicott City, MD. Set among the historic stone walls and open sky, the production used its environment to echo the play’s themes of political unrest and personal conflict. My performance as Portia was noted by BroadwayWorld Baltimore for its emotional depth and physical intensity, described as “emotionally charged” and “heart-torn,” with critics highlighting how I expressed Portia’s pain and fear through voice, movement, and presence. Much Ado About Nothing
Time: April 24-May 4, 2025
Much Ado About Nothing, was directed by Vince Tycer at the Connecticut Repertory Theater and presented at the Nafe Katter Theater. I had the honor of portraying Hero. Her journey to find love is tragically disrupted by a falsehood that jeopardizes her marriage. However, true to the spirit of Shakespearean comedy, the characters ultimately navigate their challenges and find their way back to one another, culminating in a heartwarming resolution.
The Oresteia of Aeschylus
Time: December 7-21, 2021
"The Oresteia from barbarism to civilization" was an adaptation of the Greek Tragedy of Aeschylus written and directed by actress and professor Jacqueline Duprey. I played the renowned character Electra, daughter of King Agamemnon. It was presented at the Julia de Burgos Theater in the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus as part of the experimental theater workshop. Despite the setbacks caused by the pandemic in 2020, the work was able to be presented at the end of 2021 and it was a great learning experience about classical theater and acting in itself.
