Reviews from Regional Theater
Some of the reviews for my regional theater work include praise for my performance as Portia in Julius Caesar with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, where I was described as “heart-torn” and expressing “pain and fear in voice, body, and spirit” (here) and in another review as “fiery and affecting” (here). In Living Dead in Denmark at Connecticut Repertory Theatre, I was noted as “effectively bringing to life in both english and spanish the fierless (‘Lady M’)” (here).
Recipient of Best Supporting Actress at the Victoria Espinosa Awards 2023
In the second edition of the Victoria Espinosa Awards 2023 in Puerto Rico, I was awarded Best Supporting Actress for my participation in the micro theater platform "teatro en 15". During that season, I played Mrs. Samsa in an adaptation of Franz Kafka's novel Metamorphosis. The sensitivity with which I interpreted my character's pain towards losing her son gave me the opportunity to be nominated for and win this award in Puerto Rico.
